There are few — if any — studies that I’m aware of that look specifically at adding red wine to people’s diet. There are a few trials that measure biomarkers and such, but they are not great in terms of definitive benefit/detriment. The issues with red wine drinking are, as with eating chocolate, derived from population-wide studies that examine the effects of alcohol. For example, any consumption of alcohol has a negative effect on your liver. Similarly, chocolate is very high in calories.
