But the point is they very rarely help. Most people who buy a supplement are not looking for very minor improvements in blood pressure, or to cure their rickets. They’ve heard that fish oil helps with intelligence, that a multivitamin will help them build muscle, or that they keep getting sick because they are low on vitamin c and they should take more of it. That’s why I recommend seeing a health professional instead of spending hundreds on tablets that very rarely do anything for your health at all.
