Anti-Aging Pills Probably Won’t Make Us Live Forever

Why boring simple health advice is more useful than anti-aging pills and supplements

A perennial topic that has been around for almost as long as humanity has been able to write words is the idea of living forever, or at least a lot longer than we currently do. There’s a fierce desire in most of us to remain young, frozen in time, and never have to face the indignity of dying before we’ve experienced everything there is to do in this universe.

It’s understandable. I, too, wish that I was still in my 20s and would remain so for some time to come. Getting older has its perks but also kind of sucks.

The newest example of this trend is an article in the Mail Online discussing anti-aging researchers and talking about their dreams to live to 150 or even 200 with advances in technology. However, you can find thousands of articles online talking about reducing or removing the signs of aging, or how you can turn back time to when your body had the rosy perfection of youth.
